Regular earthquakes caused by the movement of the earth's crust (tectonic plates). Earthquakes happen every day on earth, but most are small and do not cause any damage. Small earthquakes can also accompany large earthquakes, and can occur after, before, or after the big earthquake.

Most earthquakes resulting from the release of the energy produced by the pressure exerted by the plates moving. The longer the growing pressure and eventually reach the state  where the pressure can not be detained again by suburban slab. At that moment an earthquake is going to happen. Earthquakes usually occur at the boundary plate.

The most severe earthquakes usually occur at plate boundaries compressional and earth translational.
