Earthquake

An earthquake is vibration or shock that occurs in the earth's surface caused by the release of energy from the sudden that creates seismic waves. Regular earthquakes caused by the movement of the earth's crust (tectonic plates). Earthquakes happen every day on earth, but most are small and do not cause any damage. Small earthquakes can also accompany large earthquakes, and can occur after, before, or after the big earthquake.

Most earthquakes resulting from the release of the energy produced by the pressure exerted by the plates moving. The longer the growing pressure and eventually reach the state  where the pressure can not be detained again by suburban slab. At that moment an earthquake is going to happen. Earthquakes usually occur at the boundary plate.

The most severe earthquakes usually occur at plate boundaries compressional and earth translational. Earthquake focus likely occurred because the material layers are sandwiched into the lithosphere undergoes a phase transition at a depth of more than 600 km. Several other earthquakes can also occur due to the movement of magma inside the volcano. Earthquake as it can be a symptom of an impending volcanic eruption.
