Lion Air Plane Crashed In The Waters Of Bali



Lion Air plane crashed into the sea in Denpasar, Bali. Aircraft flying from Bandung to Denpasar it landed in the sea around the airport. The incident occured at around 15:35 PM. Aircraft scheduled to land at runaway but somehow landed in the sea. Ngurah Rai is close to the sea.

Boeing 737-800 NG aircraft are reported to have approached the airport runaway but crashed into the water and causing the fuselage broken. Airport authority ensure all passengers numbered 101 men and 7 crew in good condition although there are some who suffered injures.

Ngurah Rai airport was closed for about an hour following the accident in order to facilitate the evacuation process. Until now not known what caused the plane crashed before landing.
