Balapis Manado



Ingredients:
  • 250 grams flour
  • 275 grams sugar
  • 1500 ml coconut milk from 2 coconuts
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
  • 30 grams of cocoa powder, dissolved in a little hot water
  • 2 pandan leaves
How to make:
  1. Mix sugar, flour, vanilla, and salt and stir well.
  2. Add coconut milk gradually while stirring until it becomes a liquid batter.
  3. Divide the dough into 2 parts. One parts was mixed with molten chocolate powder and stir well. The rest are white.
  4. Prepare pan size 20x20x5 cm, oil basting and seal plastic.
  5. Prepare a steamer that has been heated, place the baking sheet on it, give 100 ml of white dough. Close cormorant, cover with a napkin. Steam for 10 minutes.
  6. Open the lid of the steamer, place 100 ml of chocolate dough, do continue to alternate until the dough runs out Balapis. Finally, steam for 30 minutes until Balapis cooked.
